Shalimar is the first oriental in the history of perfumery.
Shalimar Eau de Parfum is a mythical fragrance with accents of bergamot, iris and vanilla; an intense trail, a touch sultry, always incandescent, which embodies a sensuality on the verge of skin, a hint of the forbidden.

Inspired by the story of a mad love between an emperor and an Indian princess, Shalimar, which means \"Temple of Love\" in Sanskrit, forever symbolizes the essence of desire, the promise of eternal love.
In 1925, the Shalimar bottle, designed by Raymond Guerlain, won first prize at the Paris Decorative Arts Exhibition. Its curves are inspired by the basins of the famous Shalimar gardens. The fan-shaped, sapphire-transparent cap is reminiscent of its eternal water jets.
