The results on 47 subjects are extremely positive, showing significant differences on 5 criteria chosen as primary or secondary:
Total sleep time (chosen as primary criterion) increased by an average of 21 minutes 4 weeks after the reference week.
Morning dynamism score improved by 15.8% at week 4.
Morning freshness increased significantly from week 2, showing an 18.1% improvement at week 4 compared with baseline.
The night quality score improved by 12.5% at week 4 compared with the reference week.
And the sleep quality score assessed by the Spiegel scale (a validated scale used in reference studies, evaluating the following 6 criteria: time to sleep, sleep quality, sleep duration, nocturnal awakenings, number of dreams and state on awakening) increased significantly from week 2 and improved by 8.3% between week 4 and the reference week.
The results of this clinical study conducted on 47 patients suffering from fragile sleep, aimed at evaluating the efficacy and tolerability of Puressentiel Sommeil-détente, spray with 12 essential oils show a continuous increase in sleep time, sleep quality and wakefulness over 3 weeks of product use + one week of discontinuation.
No rebound effect or withdrawal phenomenon was observed on discontinuation of the spray, and tolerance and acceptability were excellent.
