In the seventies, Pierre Arpels had a new idea: create the first jeweler's fragrance. Another way to enhance feminine beauty and seduction. Not unlike jewels, perfumes are an ornament, invisible and yet overwhelming. First was created in 1976.

First has always embodied elegance with its slender and refined design. Inspired by a Van Cleef & Arpels earring, the bottle evokes the elegance of the House's jewels, all in curve and femininity.

A magnificent floral aldehydic fragrance. A splendorous ornament with a brisk fluttering of scents, First immediately seduces you with an audacious accord of aldehydes enhanced by hyacinth. It then tightens its hold with a rich deployment of jasmine and rose, and leaves an unmistakable trail of Amber and Sandalwood. Mysterious and sophisticated, it conveys a feeling of exclusiveness.
